REASONING MIND

"Rethinking the Future of Math Education"

Reasoning Mind has been adopted by Abilene ISD and is being used in half of the elementary schools in Abilene. In the 2012-2013 school year, Dyess Elementary is implementing it in 2nd-5th grade.

The Reasoning Mind math program will be providing appropriate instruction and learning activities and experiences in a computer lab setting. It not only teaches math, but also develops logical reasoning skills, something that will serve the children for the rest of their lives. It adapts to each student whether struggling with math or gifted and talented. This online program will be utilized by 2nd grade students three times a week,3rd and 4th grade students twice a week, and 5th grade students will be using it every day with their classroom teacher.
