Welcome to Anatomy & Physiology!!  I'm glad you're here!
My name is Karen Cluck and I am the A&P Instructor at Holland Medical High School.  I am a registered Medical Technologist.  I grew up in Austin, Texas, and I came to Abilene to attend Hardin-Simmons University.  What a beautiful place to learn!  After graduating from HSU, I worked in the lab at Hendrick for 6 years in the Microbiology Department.  I decided I wanted to teach in 1998 and earned my Biology teaching certification in 1999.  Since then, I have also earned my Health Science teaching certificate.  I taught Biology and Anatomy & Physiology in Anson ISD for 3 years.  Currently at Holland Med. High, I teach Anatomy & Physiology, co-teach Pharmacy Tech., and teach Career Prep.  I have a true passion for medicine and teaching, and this is the perfect marriage of the two!
 
I have been married to my wonderful husband for 14 years.  We have 3 beautiful children, Brady (11), Tyler (8), and McKenna (6), who are all Abilene ISD students.  They are my world!

The best thing about my class is my students!!  I love what I teach and I love my students.  I love watching them emerge as leaders in the classroom and become like family by the end of the school year!
