Fifth Grade

hands3 Being a Jackson Elementary School fifth grader is anything but boring. During the year, we participate in the following:

 
Field Trips: The Philharmonic Orchestra, The Grace Museum, the movie theater Christmas party, HSU, Redbud Park, the ROPES course, Madison Middle School in preparation for becoming sixth graders, swim/game room party at the Ben Richey Boys’ Ranch, and a McMurry Leadership program. 
 
On-campus Activities: The Turkey Trot, Jump Rope for Heart, a P.E. P.T.A. program, Young Audiences, and Mrs. Burson’s guidance classes.
 
The long awaited transition from elementary to middle school allows Jackson fifth grade teachers the pleasure of waving *good-bye* and sending along best wishes in song…
