Johnston Elementary provides an enhanced program for our students identified as Gifted.  In kindergarten and first grades our identified students are served by teachers that are trained in providing a challenging curriculum to these students through additional classroom experiences.  In addition, our second through fifth grade Gifted students are provided with a pull-out program know as ALPS.  This program is held on the campus of Reagan Elementary and provides these students the opportunity to meet with other gifted students and work on special projects throughout the year.  Johnston's ALP's day this year is held on Thursday of each week.
