Read 180 and Soar to Success

Scholastic Read 180 is a research based reading program designed to raise students’ reading levels to proficiency on their grade level. This program uses individualized software, independent reading, and direct teaching to address reading comprehension, fluency, vocabulary, and decoding skills. Select fourth and fifth grade students participate in Read 180 for 80 minutes per day. Soar to Success is a reading program for third grade students. The class meets for thirty minutes a day to address reading comprehension, fluency, vocabulary, and decoding skills in a small group setting.
