The Parent Coordinator for Jane Long is Nina Leija.  This is her seventh year on our campus and she stays busy with many duties.  Some of the many things she does for our school and community are, she coordinates two parent centers a year, the first of which is right around the corner, the fall festival.  The other will be a BINGO night scheduled later in the year.  She also holds two Parent Advisory Committee meetings a year as well as being part of our School-wide Planning Committee.  She works daily on our absences and tardies, often calling to see why a child is out for the day.  Mrs. Leija also works hand in hand with the teachers to help them fulfill the five categories of our parent involvement.  She works daily on making our school and community work together as one.
