Terrific third graders have an exciting year ahead of them.  This will be a year of tremendous growth for our students.  As we study about communities, students learn about responsibility and citizenship, as well as respect for each other.  Science is a fascinating year of hands-on experiments where we make predictions, do many trials, and analyze our results.  We are learning to think like scientists!  As our reading improves, AR enables our students to become more proficient readers.  The Pizza Hut Book It! Program is a great incentive for our students to keep reading.  Next to reading, mastering math skills and facts is crucial to problem solving.  Highlights for the coming year are going to Safety City, Grace Museum Art Lessons, Art Lessons from Ms. Cleveland, Planetarium, and Dr. Seuss's Birthday Party. We look forward to working with each 3rd grader this year! :)
