School Health Advisory Council
The AISD School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) meets the third Monday of every month
What is SHAC?
The School Board has established a local health advisory council to assist the District in ensuring the local community values and health issues are reflected in the District’s health education instruction. The Board has appointed members to the council, a majority of which are parents of students enrolled in the District. Other representatives are public school teachers, public school administers, health care providers, and members of the business community.
