The Abilene High School Fine Arts Department is proud to present as its 2018 musical production, “The Drowsy Chaperone!” Feb. 1-3 at the AHS Auditorium.
Students will present four performances over three days. Evening performances will be at 7 p.m. on Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 1-3, and a Saturday matinee will be held Feb. 3 at 2 p.m.
All tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door.
Hailed by New York Magazine as “the perfect Broadway musical,’’ “The Drowsy Chaperone!” was the winner of five Tony Awards is 2006. It has been described as a wacky and heartfelt send-up of Jazz Age musicals and features memorable and upbeat songs.
