Middle School Students Selected for 2018 Big Country Honor Orchestra

 Students representing all four Abilene ISD middle schools have been selected as members of the 2018 Big Country Honor Orchestra.

Middle schooll orchestra students from the AISD, Wichita Falls ISD and home school competed in the Big Country Honor Orchestra auditions held on Nov. 13 at Clack Middle School. The honor orchestra will perform in concert at 4 p.m. on Jan. 26 at the Paramount Theater.

Below are the AISD musicians selected to the orchestra:

Clack Middle School: Violin – Royce Bandora, Samuel Jones, Alexa Moncayo, Layla Randoph, Julianys Marrero-Santana, Kaiya Norwood, and Rhaelyne Thompson; Cello – Haley Lindley and Dathan Dillinger.

Craig Middle School: Violin – Ethan Dunn, Karissa Chapman, Ryann Liu, Wanda Alexie Dacanay, Kyle Lackey, Magdelena Ransford, Nathaniel Mendoza, and Adriana Rangel; Viola – Serenity Sanchez, Dimple Harwell, Nicolas Vega, and Zoe Prescott; Cello – Brodey Barylak, Austin Hendrickson, and Ella Boisvert; Bass – Abrianna Landtroop

Madison Middle School: Violin – Elizabeth Ford, Savannah Abor, Olivia Monsey, Jeanett Macias, Allie Abernathy, Maxwell Falade, Brennon Spiker, and John Tran; Viola – Joshua Thompson, Kris Smith, and Sean Garrett; Cello – Savannah Daily; Bass – Kiara Bacherini, Logan Olson, Kaden Miller and Noah Wooten

Mann Middle School: Violin – Brooklyn Beal and McKenzee Lane; Viola – Hailey Cook and Zoe Barrett; Cello – Journee Ramirez and Isaac Arias; Bass – Cooper Smith.
