ABILENE – Both the Abilene High and Cooper football teams will be in action during Thanksgiving Week, and the Abilene ISD will continue to sell tickets early that week even during the holiday break.

The Eagles will host Midland High at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 27, while the Cougars will be on the road at Crowley the same day, also kicking off at 2 p.m. Both games will be on the radio (AHS on 98.1 FM and CHS on 102.5 FM) and both games should be streamed on the AISD-TV Facebook page.

The AISD Athletics office will be open on Monday, Nov. 23, only from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. to sell tickets to both the Abilene High and Cooper games. However, instead of selling those tickets from their normal spot, they will be selling tickets in the lobby of the front entrance to the One AISD building on Pine Street (241 Pine St.). Tickets for both games are $8 for adults and $4 for students when purchased on Monday. Tickets at the gates Friday afternoon will be $10 for both adults and students.

AISD employees who want to pick up their game ticket for Friday afternoon’s game can do so that day at the One AISD building, but they must have their AISD ID badge with them when they pick up their tickets.
