Advanced Placement 

As part of AISD’s College Prep Initiative Program, Advanced Placement (AP) courses are offered to students in grades 6-12.  The pace and rigor of the Advanced Placement curriculum, requires teachers to be highly qualified and knowledgeable in both AP teaching strategies and AP curriculum. The links to the Advanced Placement professional development opportunities will help teachers further enhance their teaching to meet the rigor and advanced expectations of student learning within this program.
