Fine Arts

Abilene ISD is committed to the education of the whole child and believes that every student should have a basic knowledge, skill and appreciation of the fine arts. Benefits derived from a quality arts education program enable students to develop self-esteem, self-discipline, self-motivation and cooperation necessary for success in life.

AISD takes pride in the outstanding accomplishments of its multifaceted fine arts programs which includes elementary fine arts classes as well as secondary-level band, choir, drill team, music theory, orchestra, speech, theatre arts and visual arts.
