Abilene ISD provides programs for pregnant and parenting teens that are designed to assist  teen parents in completing their education and becoming self-sufficient.  Any pregnant and/or parenting student enrolled in AISD is eligible for PRS services. We are extremely proud of the young men and women who have graduated with the support of these services!

We support a comprehensive approach to supporting students by offering a coordination of services, equipping students with prenatal and parenting education information, and monitoring grades and attendance regularly to ensure academic success.

The programs in place to assist pregnant and parenting students who are completing their education include:

• Pregnancy Related Services (PRS)

• Compensatory Education Home Instruction (CEHI)

• The Early Head Start program (EHS)
