Regional Day School Program for the Deaf

The Abilene Regional Day School Program for the Deaf (RDSPD) serves students from birth to 22 years of age across Region 14 schools with hearing differences that significantly impact the development of language and academic performance. Our mission is to increase the educational achievement of students who are deaf and hard of hearing and help them become self-sufficient members of society after graduation. We provide support to parents of children who have hearing loss and work closely with professionals serving these students. AISD offers RDSPD classrooms at Long ELC, Ward Elementary, Madison Middle School, and Cooper High School.
