Military Support Duties

  • Assist in the creation of a welcoming school culture.

  • Keep campus leadership aware of family and school issues.

  • Advocate for AISD to the military community.

  • Advocate and provide program information and support to military families with children of special needs.

  • Serve as the point of contact and work collaboratively between military-connected families and the campus.

  • Assist in coordinating campus-based programs relevant to military-connected students.

  • Attend professional development and training to learn and understand topics related to the transition of military-connected students and their families.

  • Offer military parents volunteer opportunities on campus.

Student-to-Student

Established in 2004, Student 2 Student® (S2S™) is a student program that brings military and civilian students together to welcome new students, create a positive environment, support academic excellence, and ease transitions. Our goal at Cooper high school is to make everyone feel welcome from day one.
