Officer Cox has been with the Abilene Police Department since January 2003. He has been a School Resource Officer (SRO) since August 2014. 

In addition to Mann MS, Officer Cox also covers Long Early Learning Center, Martinez Elementary, Stafford Elementary, Ortiz Elementary, and Purcell Elementary.
