Abilene ISD is proud to offer a comprehensive selection of secondary academic courses, electives, and extra-curricular programs for students in grades 6-12. AISD also offers Advanced Placement and early college opportunities, Career and Technical Education certification programs, and fine arts, athletics, foreign languages, special education, and English as a Second Language (ESL) programming.

In grades 9-12, students may attend Abilene High or Cooper High depending on their school zone, or they may choose to attend the Academy of Technology, Engineering, Math, and Science (ATEMS) located at The LIFT (2034 Quantum Loop). Students in grades 11-12 interested in medical careers may also choose to attend Holland Medical High School while enrolled at Abilene High or Cooper.
