About Ward

Welcome to Allie Ward Elementary School! You will find that Ward has the hardest working faculty and staff of any school around. Our teachers put in countless hours each year to help produce very successful students. With a wide range of academic programs and services, including Music, PE, Art, Deaf Education, Gifted and Talented, and more, we ensure every student receives a well-rounded education.

We are a true neighborhood school tucked away in far southwest Abilene. Allie Ward Elementary School came into existence in 1992 as this part of Abilene was experiencing very rapid growth. We serve children in grades Kindergarten through Fifth grade, and also serve as the Regional Day School Program for the Deaf (RDSPD) for Abilene.

We have a wonderful PTO as well as supportive parents who partner together to ensure that our students are successful. Allie Ward is a wonderful place to be "Where Kids Are #1!"
