I have been the counselor at Austin Elementary since 2011.  I am an Abilene native and attended Jackson, Madison, and Cooper.  I did my undergraduate work at Baylor and graduate work at Sul Ross University.  I look forward to working with our great Austin staff, parents, and students! We have an awesome community here at Austin, and I encourage you to volunteer wherever and whenever you can!  Go Raiders!

The mission of the AISD guidance and counseling program is to create and sustain effective comprehensive guidance and counseling services which empower students with opportunities for the highest level of achievement in their academic and personal/social aspects of life to become responsible, productive citizens in a diverse and changing world.

I am involved in classroom guidance,  small groups and individual counseling with many of our students. I am the campus testing coordinator for the state mandated assessment (STAAR) and the campus 504 coordinator.
