If you know your child will be absent or has an appointment (medical, dental, etc) please notify our office as soon as possible. When your child returns to school, please be sure to send your child with a note (doctor note or one from yourself) to explain the absence. That will help properly document the student’s absence. 

When students are absent, there is the ability to make up missed work. However, the loss of the classroom experiences and instruction creates learning gaps that effect future learning. This is why we Strive for Five!

If you know your student will be absent, please call Sophia Mitchell at 325-690-3720. Remember to send a note back to explain the absence (doctor's note is preferred).
