About Taylor

Welcome to Taylor Elementary, home of the Mighty Trojans!  Since opening in 1955 in the northeast corner of Abilene, Taylor has established and maintained a tradition of excellence and enthusiasm for learning in AISD. In January 2021, Taylor Elementary moved to a new state-of-the-art campus on EN 10th Street. The new building provides space for collaboration and a Makerspace for students to explore STEAM – Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math.

Taylor Elementary is honored to serve over 600 students and their families in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade.  Our community consists of a diverse group that works together to achieve our school’s mission. We look forward to partnering with parents, families and the community for the success of our students!

Hurrah for the Taylor Trojans, we march to victory!
